Humid house issues in Rochelle, IL

This particular house had problems with a basement that often flooded and had humidity problems throughout the house. As seen in the before photo the humidity caused the latex paint to forms these stains across the ceiling. This usually happens in bathrooms due to humidity due to showers. However because this house was excessively humid it happened throughout the house and especially here in the living room. It looks very similar when the house has a leaky roof and most of the ceiling gets wet but you will notice that it looks more like wet drips on the ceiling and will often drip down. We helped with the basement issues and with ways to keep the humidity down and restored the impacted areas.
